IMP takes the stage at FF Expo, Dallas
The FF Expo took place at the Sheraton Arlington, Dallas, Texas on 13-14 May 2008. Over 170 delegates from more than 85 companies attended the event, of which Hitit was once again a major sponsor. Carlson Marketing Worldwide President & CEO Jim Schroer kicked off proceedings with a presentation delivering significant insights into “The Waves of Change in Loyalty Marketing”. A panel discussion on “Transforming CRM to a true Customer Centric Business Model”, headed by Etihad Airways head of CRM, Barry Green and Southwest Airlines Director for Customer Loyalty, Ryan Green (no relation) provided compulsive arguments pushing for companies to start making use of refined CRM methods if they wanted to sustain customer loyaly and value in the long term.
The panel discussion was aptly followed by a presentation on “Customer Profiling” by Hitit System Development Director, Mr Hakan Unlu. Illustrating ways in which advanced customer profiling and segmentation would benefit airlines in particular in terms of reduced costs and increased sales, Hakan Unlu very briefly touched upon the capabilities of Hitit’s revolutionary solution, Crane IMP (Intelligent Member Profiling) by underlining the point that “sophisticated customer segments are difficult to build because of the complexity and labyrinthine volume of loyalty data. Superior customer segmentation is possible with a data warehouse and data mining tools”.
